NARGON Submission

The Consumer Law Reform Bill is due to be submitted to the Commerce Commission by the 29th of March.

This is a draft of the NARGON submission on behalf of its members.

NARGON recommends that:

(1)    There be no increase in minimum wage rates but, instead
(2)    An increased focus on training for young people.

Attached for your consideration is a draft BusinessNZ Submission on the ACC Levy Consultation Papers which outline proposed rates for 2012/13 for the Work, Earners’ and Motor Vehicle Accounts.

NARGON supports the general thrust of this bill which will allow employers in the retail grocery industry a greater degree of flexibility in the management of their businesses.

NARGON has made a submission to Medsafe New Zealand regarding the reclassification of destromethorphan, guaifenisin, ipecacuanha and phenylephrine to a pharmacy based clasification.
