Draft BusinessNZ Submission on the proposed ACC Levy Rates for 2012/13

Attached for your consideration is a draft BusinessNZ Submission on the ACC Levy Consultation Papers which outline proposed rates for 2012/13 for the Work, Earners’ and Motor Vehicle Accounts.

NARGON will draw up a submission in support of the BusinessNZ Submission on this topic.

The draft submission focuses on four key areas:  (1) ACC’s Funding policy, (2) Policy of capping changes to levy rates, (3) funding of residual (pre-1999) claims, and (4) continued significant cross-subsidisation in the Motor Vehicle Account.
